Community Involvement
Featured Charity:
The School Supply Drive
NetEffects is teaming up with the Evangelical Children’s to help supply children in need with much needed school supplies.
Our goal is to raise $1500 dollars to provide all the necessary school supplies to at least 37 kids. We are one third of the way there with Jack Bader donating $500 to jump-start the donations.
For 150 years, the Evangelical Children’s Home has been a safe haven for children who have experienced tumultuous times in their lives. The Evangelical Children’s Home has grown from solely offering housing to children in need to providing affordable childcare, an on-grounds school, youth programs, a counseling center, and a variety of family oriented counseling programs. In addition, they began a Kansas City facility.
"Giving back" to the community involves us all
A key element in being a good employer is being a good neighbor. Good employers attract, and keep, good employees. That’s an essential ingredient in our ability to meet our client needs.
As a result, from the very beginning our corporate culture has included a commitment to community. If we can share, we believe it lets our own employees know we care.
And care we do.
- Annually we commit a portion of our revenues to charitable efforts
- We have a paid staff member as our Philanthropy Chairperson
- We adopt at least one charity a quarter to support, with manpower and money
- We encourage our employees and our clients to recommend organizations for our support
We involve our employees and our clients in all our charitable activities. We do good deeds for no other reason than it's the right thing to do. Everyone feels good about it, and everyone benefits.
