Work with business sponsors, users and client IT staff to manage the design and development of a new Portfolio Management System.
Solution:
NetEffects placed a key consultant to manage this challenging effort. He:
- Managed a team of 20 developers, systems analysts and testers along with numerous other personnel from the support organization
- Worked directly with business sponsors and end users. Periodically updated the project status to both business sponsors and senior IT management, including the CIO
- Introduced Rational Unified Process to the project.
Result:
Successfully managed project to completion resulting in 90% user acceptance and usage in the first 3 month of the product rollout – a first in the firm’s history.
