What we need the Business Analyst to do:
The Business Analyst will coordinate and participate in reviews, revisions, testing, documentation, and member notification of product enhancements and services. They will provide business knowledge and technical support for business requirements development and adherence while working closely with developers and requesters identifying data and functional requirements in the design of new and enhanced systems. The Business Analyst will ensure that the development objectives are accomplished, user testing is performed, and member notification is prepared in a timely fashion.
The Business Analyst will develop, present and participate in the review of business and functional requirements and determine primary functions that the project will provide while ensuring timely and accurate communication with project staff throughout the life cycle of the project. The BA will also present documentation of both the business and technical sides.
The Business Analyst will evaluate any business requests to determine feasibility and work with Software Engineers to define alternatives and recommend optimal solutions. They will also ensure methodology compliance, identify document problem areas and coordinate resolutions while reporting to management as necessary. They will perform investigations and research multiple financial industry business/technical processes. The Business Analyst will also coordinate and assist in the implementation of new or revised rules and policies as well as document project and release of leveled user acceptance testing.
What the Business Analyst will be working on:
The Business Analyst will be working extensively on projects involving Business to Business practices, Business to Consumer practices, and multiple facets of e-Commerce.
The qualified Business Analyst needs to have:
Strong analytical skills, including ability to accurately obtain and define project requirements.
Exceptionally strong written communication skills.
Proficient in producing written training and procedural documentation.
Ability to interact comfortably with various levels of management.
Attention to detail with crisp follow-up on assigned tasks.
Ability to translate complex technical information into easy-to-understand terms.
Ability to multi-task on several concurrent projects.
Broad application of structured analytical principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to identify and communicate business and technical needs and assist in the design and implementation of system solutions. JAD sessions are a plus.
