NetEffects is seeking a multi-faceted J2EE developer with extensive experience for one of our highly regarded fortune 500 clients.

Required Skills:

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of application development experience with J2EE technologies.
  • Strong experience with Hibernate, Spring, and Struts.
  • Experience analyzing requirements, designing, implementing and problem solving within distributed/multi-tiered applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience with Java, JSP, Servlet, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, EJB, XML, JNDI, JDBC, SQL, and JMS.
  • Experience developing distributed applications using Web Services and/or EJB
  • Experience developing with J2EE application servers, such as Web Sphere 6.x.
  • Experience developing with relational databases, such as Oracle 9.x.
  • Experience packaging and deploying J2EE applications.
  • Experience using and producing design documentation and UML deliverables.
  • Solid understanding of HTTP and web-based authentication and authorization concepts
  • Strong knowledge of OO concepts and commonly used Design patterns

 
Preferred Skills:

  • Work experience related to financial industry.
