NetEffects is seeking a multi-faceted J2EE developer with extensive experience for one of our highly regarded fortune 500 clients.
Required Skills:
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of application development experience with J2EE technologies.
- Strong experience with Hibernate, Spring, and Struts.
- Experience analyzing requirements, designing, implementing and problem solving within distributed/multi-tiered applications.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with Java, JSP, Servlet, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, EJB, XML, JNDI, JDBC, SQL, and JMS.
- Experience developing distributed applications using Web Services and/or EJB
- Experience developing with J2EE application servers, such as Web Sphere 6.x.
- Experience developing with relational databases, such as Oracle 9.x.
- Experience packaging and deploying J2EE applications.
- Experience using and producing design documentation and UML deliverables.
- Solid understanding of HTTP and web-based authentication and authorization concepts
- Strong knowledge of OO concepts and commonly used Design patterns
Preferred Skills:
- Work experience related to financial industry.
