NetEffects is seeking a multi-faceted Web Administrator that has background as a Unix System Administrator (preferably Solaris) for one of our highly regarded fortune 500 clients.
Required Skills:
- Two (2) years experience in a web administration role.
- Two (2) years experience with Apache web servers, Perl and shell scripting, and Java server administration.
- At least One (1) year experience with Web Sphere.
- Experience with Apache web server on a UNIX box.
- Know how to configure, restart, and compile in Apache.
- Experienced with Web Sphere on the backend.
- Experience with web application infrastructure.
- Experience with the security piece, security models, SSL, and digital certificates.
- Experience with openSSL, openSSH, and certificate generation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug production issues in a multi-tiered environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Web logic.
- Experience with IBM Web Seal or Tivoli Access Manager (TAM).
- Experience with mySQL, DNS (bind), Microsoft ISS, Tomcat, and AIX.
- Development background, C, C++, XML, and Java.
- Focus on web security.
