Position Details:   Oracle DBA skilled in Oracle 10g

NetEffects is seeking an experience Oracle DBA skilled in Oracle 10g for one of our highly regarded worldwide clients.

 

Required Skills:

  • At least six (6) years experience with Oracle RAC, Oracle streams, Oracle clusterware, 10G OEM, and Extreem.
  • Expert Oracle DBA skills to create and migrate data to new database for the transition of support to functional owners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required as

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise to staff and other internal business/technical areas.
  • Face to face interactions with multiple teams including external vendors and creating/documenting of new standards, process and policies.
  • Responsible for tracking deliverables against project plans and ensuring that commitments are met.
  • Participation in the development of Database product strategies and rollout plans, participation in cross-functional teams that address implementation issues.
  • Responsible for identification of product and service improvement opportunities and partner with development and other teams including external vendors to ensure successful implementation of new product/services.
