Position Details: Senior SQL Server DBA

Required Skills:
- At least four (4) years experience with SQL, SQL Server, and SQL programming.
- Expert SQL Server DBA skills in performing stored procedures, triggers, indexes, and sequences.
- At least two (2) years experience with Data Modeling and OLAP.
- Knowledge of SQL Server 2000 required and preferably SQL Server 2005.
- Ability to design, develop and maintain SQL server databases.
- Must be able to work independently and work well with others and be able to support SDLC documentation such as data models/schemas, requirements, design and testing.
- Knowledge of SQL server clustering preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all activities related to the administration of SQL server databases.
- Monitor, manage and maintain all SQL databases to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
- Design complex or non routine solutions for the SQL server database environments
- Provide technical leadership role over SQL server environments.
- Mentor SQL developers in SQL server best practices.
- Research to stay abreast of current technology that will keep the SQL databases and developers operating efficiently and effectively.
- Provide assistance to Application Development team members with issues requiring database knowledge
