NetEffects is seeking a well rounded Project Manager with DB2 DBA background for one of our highly regarded fortune 500 clients.
Required Skills:
- DB2 DBA experience is preferred; however, Mainframe experience or just DBA experience is acceptable.
- At least three (3) years of Project Manager Experience
- Working knowledge of mainframe development practices and DB2 Database knowledge
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication skills and be ability to participate in requirement and design meetings
- Solid facilitation and escalation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide Project Management support for DB2 Data Architecture managing multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Project manager will prepare and present status for all status meetings, manage milestone dates, manage the candidate estimating and data entry as well as manage issues related to providing sound reliable databases
- Work closely with DBA, manage estimates, tasks, and represent department in Project Manager status meetings
