The thing that I most admire about NetEffects is its people – the back office people that make the company tick, who were always there to help me out. The other thing I most admire about NetEffects is corporate philanthropy – I haven’t come across any organization the size of NetEffects to have a person dedicated solely for this.

NetEffects is seeking a multi-faceted UNIX Administrator that has excellent communication skills for one of our highly regarded fortune 500 clients.
Required Skills:
- At least three (3) years experience with LINUX, HP, and/or SUN System Administration, Veritas Volume Manager, Security, and UNIX Best Practices in an enterprise environment.
- Proficient in solution design, solution development, technical performance, technology networking & communication.
- At least three (3) years experience with Enterprise Operational Systems Administration Training.
- Possess problem solving, leadership, adaptability, organizational skills, management skills, self-development, teamwork, communication & interpersonal skills.
- Experience in project leadership, product, services & solutions management.
- Associates or technical degree, in a computer related field.
- 4-year college degree in MIS or Computer Science preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include Sun, HP, and/or Linux implementation, configuration and/or maintenance of multi-technology platforms such as mainframes, midrange platforms, servers, security devices, desktops and networks .
- Provide more complex technical services for the computing infrastructure to ensure technical health and security of the computing environment.
- Ensure a stable operating environment and maximum utilization of system facilities.
