The thing that I most admire about NetEffects is its people – the back office people that make the company tick, who were always there to help me out. The other thing I most admire about NetEffects is corporate philanthropy – I haven’t come across any organization the size of NetEffects to have a person dedicated solely for this.

Position Details: Web Administrator with BEA WebLogic

NetEffects is seeking a multi-faceted Web Administrator for one of America’s leading Biochemical Companies in the Midwest.
Required Skills:
- At least three (3) years BEA WebLogic, Unix and Linux experience.
- At least two (2) years experience with Tomcat version 5 and 5.5, Apache 1.3 or higher.
- At least three (3) years Web Support and Administration experience in an Enterprise environment
- At least three (3) years Web site creation experience
- At least two (2) project leadership experience
- Excellent communication, team skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Self motivated and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Unix
Responsibilities:
- The Web Administrator will be responsible for general web project related activities including, but not limited to installation, configuration, and scripting.
- The Web Administrator will work in a collaborative environment involving but not limited to a Team Lead, Developers, Business Analysts, Project Leads and Testers to ensure the timely delivery of quality web environment and configurations.
