The thing that I most admire about NetEffects is its people – the back office people that make the company tick, who were always there to help me out. The other thing I most admire about NetEffects is corporate philanthropy – I haven’t come across any organization the size of NetEffects to have a person dedicated solely for this.

NetEffects is seeking a talented CCNA Certified Service Engineer for one of our highly regarded nationwide clients.
Required Skills:
- CCNA Certified.
- At least two years experience working on 7500 and 12000 series Cisco routers.
- Previous proven experience with Juniper M Series.
- At least three (3) years experience with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and Cisco routers.
- At least two years experience with configuring/troubleshooting OSPF, BGP, and MPL.
Preferred Skills:
- Service Engineer should have an Associates Degree or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities:
- Service Engineer providing custom data network operational support, and understand design, engineering, and planning for complex global data network and communications projects involving TCP/IP and related protocol connectivity for networks supporting customers.
- Act as a front-line interface to customers, accepting trouble reports and dispatching them to appropriate personnel and/or carriers.
- Reactively troubleshoot and diagnose problems on proprietary IP networks.
- Interact with carriers and customers to report events and/or resolution of events.
