The thing that I most admire about NetEffects is its people – the back office people that make the company tick, who were always there to help me out. The other thing I most admire about NetEffects is corporate philanthropy – I haven’t come across any organization the size of NetEffects to have a person dedicated solely for this.

NetEffects is seeking a multi-faceted Java Architect with hands on experience for one of our highly regarded fortune 500 clients.
Required Skills:
- At least four (4) years experience working with Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technologies.
- At least four (4) years experience working with Enterprise JavaBeans (EJBs), Struts, Java Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, SOA, Web Services, and XML.
- At least two (2) years leading a team architecting, designing and developing enterprise class high availability systems using Java/J2EE and working with known integration software products such as IBM Web Sphere, and Apache in UNIX environment
- Experience with design tools and a good understanding of leading Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., Zachman), Rational Application Developer (RAD), UML, and J2EE design patterns.
- Experience with Sun, UNIX shell scripting, Oracle, Oracle, SQL, Stored Procedures, WSAD, Eclipse.
- Experience with Software Estimation Techniques, WebSphere Application Server, Web Security (Authentication, Authorization, SSL Certificates) and Build tools (Ant, Maven or Cruise Control).
- Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (RUP, Agile, etc) and integration best practices.
- Possess strong analytical skills, customer focus and in-depth technical Java experience.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
