Position Details: Sr. Data Warehouse Developer/Architect

Location:
- Design and build relational databases for data storage and processing, and develop strategies for data-warehouse implementation, data acquisition, archive recovery and data curation.
- Evaluate new data sources, formulate strategy for adherence to the organization's quality standards and ease of integration
- Develop / maintain all standards pursuant to data structures and models, and review current operational data structures and recommend optimizations and reconfigurations
- Develop / maintain ETL and Data Acquisition plans
- Work with users, analysts, and DBAs to plan, design, enhance and implement applications / scripts / procedures / metadata, and migrate complex large scale applications into system test and production environments
- Perform CASE analysis using UML methodologies and Rational Unified Process
- Track and manage database development through X-Planner and Serena TeamTrack ticketing system
- Develop schemas for all business applications, and serve as the data technical strategy expert to lead the creation of all technical requirements and design deliverables
- Mentor database architects and review designs through peer to peer and group design sessions.
Sr. Data-warehouse Developer/Architect needs to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a closely related field plus minimum 5 years experience (alternatively accept Master’s degree with 2 year experience) in offered or closely related positions such as software developer, programmer/systems analyst.

- Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, MS/Access, PowerDesigner, Erwin, Symantec I3 tool, SAGENT, MS/DTS, TOAD, MS/Visual Studio, ASP, VBSscript, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, UML methodologies, Rational Unified Process, X-Planner, Serena TeamTrack, Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Navigator.
