Position Details:  Sr. Software Engineer

Location:

  • Analyze requirements, design / develop test plan and test scenarios, and execute test cases in mainframe and Java environments; interact with developers, business analysts, designers and management to address issues encountered.
  • Coordinate with DBA’s in different locations to setup test data in Oracle and MS/Access.
  • Assist development teams with tests on new change requests, spot checking data and enhancements.
  • Validate test results in both front and back end systems, and write SQL queries for backend testing on applications.
  • Generate test data and generate automated scripts for performance and regression testing
  • Perform change control procedures for requirement changes.
  •  Prioritize and coordinate defect fixes with the development team, and negotiate commitments across functional areas.
  • Create project plans and report test execution metrics on a daily basis.

Sr. Software Engineer needs to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a closely related field plus minimum 5 years experience (alternatively accept Master’s degree with 2 year experience) in offered or closely related positions such as software developer, programmer/systems analyst.
  • Quality Center, Oracle, MS/Access, Fileaid, Tandem, SQL, Paragon simulator tool, Quick Test Pro, MS/Project.
