Position Details:  Networking Support Engineer with Juniper

Location: Chesterfield, MO

NetEffects is seeking a talented Networking Support Engineer with Juniper for one of our highly regarded nationwide clients.

 

Required Skills:

  •  Juniper experience must be present on resume.
  • At least four (4) years experience with WAN, BGP Protocol, OSPF Protocol, Juniper.
  •  At least two (2) years experience with SNMP, UNIX, VPN.
  •  Understanding of DHCP Principles.
  • Strong familiarity with T1 to OC192 transport.
  • Advanced understanding of SNMP, MIB structure, OSPF and BGP Routing Protocols, switching VLAN, VLAN design and setup.
  •  Experience with MPLS on an LDP switched network.
  • Solid background in digital/SONET facilities provisioning and troubleshooting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex circuit/networking issues and routing problems.
  • Assist managers with developing automation tools and programming rules to manage daily routines.
