NetEffects is seeking a multi-faceted a Unix System Administrator for one of America’s leading Companies.
Required Skills:
- At least five (5) years system administration experience
- At least four (4) years experience with Unix, shell scripts, ANT, Oracle, SQL
- Excellent communication, team skills, and a strong work ethic.
- Bachelors (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science
- Strong technical documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
- The Systems Administrator with UNIX experience will perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of production processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
- Unix System Administrator will provide Tier III/other support per request from various constituencies.
- Unix System Administrator performs ongoing performance tuning, software upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
