NetEffects is seeking a talented Network Engineer for one of our highly regarded nationwide clients.
Required Skills:
- Very broad technical knowledge and understanding of large scale, WAN networks
- At least three (3) years experience configuring/troubleshooting OSPF, BGP, MPLS, ATM, Frame relay
- At least three (3) years experience with TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Cisco routers, Junipers, T1 to OC192 transport
- Working knowledge of UNIX
- Advance understanding of SNMP, MIB structure, OSPF and BGP Routing Protocols, and switching VLAN design and setup
- Background in digital/SONET facilities provisioning and troubleshooting
- Strong Juniper knowledge
- CCNA Certified
Responsibilities:
- Network Engineer will be responsible for providing 24 x 7 support for Network Operations
- Network Engineer will be responsible for in performing complex assignments and providing support for troubleshooting and maintaining IP networks, concentrating on facilities ranging from T1 to OC192 and Cisco high-end routers and switches
