Position Details: Network / Multimedia Support Technician

NetEffects is seeking a Network / Multimedia Support Technician with substantial experience for one of America’s leading companies in the Midwest.
Required Skills:
- At least six (6) years experience in an audio visual environment.
- At least three (3) years experience as a Network Technician.
- At least three (3) years experience with HTML, Java, Java Beans, Microsoft Access.
- Systems Analysis and Design experience.
- Knowledge of the technical aspects of lighting, sound, camera work, and video switching.
- Experience with control systems such as Crestron or AMX.
Responsibilities:
- Network / Multimedia Support Technician initializes multimedia and conferencing equipment, conducts pre-conference testing, monitors audio and video calls, troubleshoots technical issues and maintains a working knowledge of various product platforms.
- Network / Multimedia Support Technician candidate will be responsible for booking, setting up and monitoring of calls, taking the logistics of the call ensuring that they are prepared for what needs to be accomplished.
- Network / Multimedia Support Technician will be responsible for the operation, administration, and maintenance of multimedia audio, web, multipoint and streaming conferencing platforms
- Manage and maintain AV equipment and systems inventory
- Responsible for research, development, and training of emerging technologies and applications in the AV industry.
