Position Details: Web Administrator with BEA WebLogic

NetEffects is seeking a multi-faceted Web Administrator for one of America’s leading companies in the Midwest.

Required Skills:

At least four (4) years Web Administration experience in an enterprise environment
At least four (4) years WebLogic experience
Experience with WebLogic 10.x or higher
Experience with Tomcat, Apache and IIS web servers
Expertise in Internet technologies: HTML, CSS, XML, XSLT, XPATH, TCP/IP, SOAP, XML, XSD, WSDL, XSLT
Experience with relational database technologies (Oracle, SQL) - specific knowledge of database technologies: Oracle 10g / 11i, RAC, PL/SQL
Experience with Java, JSP, JavaScript
Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems

Responsibilities:

The Web Administrator will participate in the administration and support of the WebLogic infrastructure
Enhance and document WebLogic monitoring practices and SOP's
Act as primary contact for WebLogic infrastructure issues, including responses to system outages
The Web Administrator will work with end users to provide post-implementation support, resolve questions and define system improvements
