NetEffects is seeking Network Architect - Security for one of our highly regarded clients.
Required Skills:
- Written CCIE Certification is a must!
- Three (3) years of related experience which includes network security concepts, issues, and challenges
- Broad knowledge of network security practices, designs, tests, tools, and processes
- Comprehensive knowledge of network architectures, equipment, and designs
- Comprehensive knowledge of network management strategies, techniques, and options
- Knowledge of general societal, political, and legal issues related to network security
- Knowledge of network security products and utilities
- Knowledge of network protocols
- Knowledge of major operating systems (Windows, Unix, Novell, Linux)
- Ability to develop network security policies
- Ability to use work-enhanced software, including use of project management tools
Responsibilities:
- Under general direction, develop and implement network security policies, plans, and procedures
- Network Architect will ensure that security policies are applied and maintained for network devices, remote access devices, firewalls, and servers
- Network Architect will design and maintain monitoring technology and analyze information related to network
