Position Details:  Network Architect – Security

Location:

NetEffects is seeking Network Architect - Security for one of our highly regarded clients. 

Required Skills:

  • Written CCIE Certification is a must!
  • Three (3) years of related experience which includes network security concepts, issues, and challenges
  • Broad knowledge of network security practices, designs, tests, tools, and processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of network architectures, equipment, and designs
  • Comprehensive knowledge of network management strategies, techniques, and options
  • Knowledge of general societal, political, and legal issues related to network security
  • Knowledge of network security products and utilities
  • Knowledge of network protocols
  • Knowledge of major operating systems (Windows, Unix, Novell, Linux)
  • Ability to develop network security policies
  • Ability to use work-enhanced software, including use of project management tools

 Responsibilities:

  • Under general direction, develop and implement network security policies, plans, and procedures
  •  Network Architect will ensure that security policies are applied and maintained for network devices, remote access devices, firewalls, and servers
  •  Network Architect will design and maintain monitoring technology and analyze information related to network
