Position Details: System Administrator

NetEffects is seeking a System Administrator.
Required Skills:
- At least four (4) years of system administration experience
- Expertise in Unix, shell scripts, ANT, Oracle, SQL
- Strong technical documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and utilities
- System Administrator is accountable for configuration and ongoing management in the following environments: development, system test, UAT, member test and production
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of production processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
- Provide Tier III and other support per request from various constituencies
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures
