Position Details:  SharePoint Administrator

Location:

NetEffects is seeking a SharePoint Administrator with at least three years of experience.

Required Skills:

  • At least 3 years Microsoft SharePoint Administrative experience
  • Experience with Windows SharePoint Services v3 (WSS 3.0), Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007), ASP 2.5, .NET 3.0 and 3.5
  • Experience with IIS 6.0, Windows Server 2003, 2008, SQL Server 2005
  • Ability to design, develop, integrate, and implement related application components, including front-end implementation, server-side implementation, and database integration
  • Hands-on software troubleshooting experience
  • Competent and proficient understanding of SharePoint Operating platforms
  • BE or BS Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field

 Responsibilities:

  • SharePoint Administrator will work with various teams to implement solutions and adherence to existing procedures and best practices for maintaining a robust, highly available SharePoint platform to meet businesses requirements
  • SharePoint Administrator will provide emergency support 24/7 on an On-Call basis
  • Assist with development and support of internal and external facing SharePoint site
  • SharePoint Administrator will create and maintain technical documentation, test plans and implementation plans
  • Convert business processes and needs into technical SharePoint requirements
  • Manage complete SharePoint SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including analysis, design, code, and testing of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft technologies
  • Identify and create system documentation for maintenance, support, and use of business SharePoint applications built upon Microsoft SQL 2000/2005, IIS 6.0, ASP 2.5, SharePoint 2007, and .NET technologies
