How Do You Record Your Hard Working Hours?
Weekly Timesheet
The timesheet deadline is Monday before 4:00 pm for the previous week’s time. If you do not have your timesheet in by Monday, then you run the risk of your paycheck not being correct.
Things to remember:
1. Timesheets are due Mondays before 4:00 pm for the previous week (This is a firm deadline!) If the client’s timesheet deadline is prior to this, please adhere to the client deadline.
2. Timesheets must have client manager approval unless other arrangements have been made.
3. If at any time you are not able to make this deadline then you need to contact PJ Petracek to discuss the situation, at 636-237-1000 or pj@neteffects.com . We understand that sometimes things beyond your control happen, however, that should be the exception and not the rule.
4. All timesheets need to be emailed to timesheets@neteffects.com .
5. Please send an email to timesheets@neteffects.com letting us know if you are going to be out for an entire week before leaving.
6. CLASS 3 EMPLOYEES: Please also be certain to send an email to timesheets@neteffects.com to request PTO hours, only if you are a Class 3 employee. PTO hours may be requested in increments of one hour. Any time off must first be approved by your manager. (Record 0 hours on your timesheet for time off).
You must use a NetEffects timesheet unless the client uses an Automated Time Reporting System to track your time. If you are not certain of which format to use, please ask your manager or contact PJ.
NetEffects Timesheet
• Available in your NetEffects orientation folder as a paper copy and at the intranet site (www.neteffects.com) as a soft copy.
1. Manager Approval Required – You may email the timesheet to your manager and cc timesheets@neteffects.com asking your manager to “Reply All” with their approval in the body of the email.
2. NO Manager Approval Required – Please send an email to timesheets@neteffects.com from your manager stating that no approval is required on your timesheets.
• Time should be in ¼ increments using .25, .5, .75 and whole hours unless requested otherwise by the client.
• NetEffects week ending date is Sunday, however, we do recognize the client weekending date. Therefore, if the client ends the week on Friday, then NetEffects will use Friday as the weekly cutoff. If the client uses Saturday or Sunday as the weekly cutoff, then NetEffects will use Saturday or Sunday.
Client Automated Time Reporting System
Some clients require that the consultants enter their time into their automated time reporting system. If this is the case then we do not require that you fill out two timesheets. We accept the output of the client-based system.
However, you will need to use the template that is on the intranet site. Please make sure that:
1. The timesheet fits on 1 page.
2. That you have your name and the number of hours worked typed on the page.
3. That you have manager’s approval (if required) on all timesheets:
• Manager Approval Required –
a) You may email a screenshot of the timesheet to your manager and cc timesheets@neteffects.com asking your manager to “Reply All” with their approval in the body of the email.
b) If your manager approves your timesheets within the client based system, please send timesheets@neteffects.com a screenshot of the approved timesheet only. (No additional approval is necessary).
• NO Manager Approval Required – Please send an email to timesheets@neteffects.com from your manager stating that no approval is required on your timesheets.
Moving? Getting A New Mobile Number? Contact Update
Please make sure to update all contact information both personal and work when it changes. Please send these changes to mz@neteffects.com or timesheets@neteffects.com.
Confused about the pay schedule?
We pay 2 times per month on the 15th and the end of the month unless the 15th or end of the month falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Monday Holiday. Then we pay on the Friday before. We pay in arrears, therefore the paydate is a few weeks behind. Please refer to the 2009 pay schedule (below) for weeks paid under the corresponding paydates:
Time Reporting and Payment Schedule - 2009
Visit the NetEffects employee intranet click on the consultant login on the left hand side of the NetEffects home page. The user name and password are both the word 'employee' (all lowercase). The Time and Reporting Schedule is located in the "Getting Paid" section of Benefits and Payroll.
If the pay date falls on Saturday, Sunday or Monday Holiday then the pay date will be on Friday before.
**Remember the three week checks have more taxes taken out of them as there are more hours
