Meet Amy Barondeau
In 1999 new NetEffects recruiter Amy Barondeau received her third promotion – and a transfer from St. Louis to San Francisco – from a leading information technology services company with 5,000 employees nationwide.
Amy’s career experience packs a punch. In just eight short years, in addition to her work in IT sales and recruitment, she’s been responsible for new major account development, negotiating major vendor agreements, strategic business development, coaching and mentoring sales teams, managing both front and back-end application projects for several companies, succeeded in project and product management for an online technology platform for realtors and buyers, and a fast-growing online art and decor company.
During that time, her outstanding abilities were cited by her various employers as a top regional performer five years in a row, Account Manager of the Year, and a Chairman’s Award for exceeding quotas.
Appreciating the fact that NetEffects prides itself on recruiting the very best consultants, Amy expects to make the most of her background and experience to bring the talented consultants to NetEffects clients.
Meet Lizzy Donahower
Here’s an international travel tip from Lizzy Donahower, newly hired sales support analyst. “Don’t use your mobile phone unless you are certain you won’t incur extra charges,” says Lizzy. “A friend just got a $1,000 phone bill.”
A veteran traveler proficient in Spanish, Lizzy has not used her mobile phone during several European trips, including an international business seminar that held briefings with Lloyd’s of London, Daimler-Chrysler in Stuttgart, Germany and a discreet international bank in Switzerland.
“That trip was a case of ‘If this is Tuesday, this must be Belgium”, she says with that captivating smile that lights both in her voice and her face.
With her bachelor and master degrees in business, business administration and marketing safely tucked away, Lizzy in 2007 secured her first full-time job as an IT recruiter with an international staff recruiting company.
Earlier this year, after interviewing with NetEffects, Lizzy set off for a trip to Monaco, Italy and the south of France. (Another travel tip: “Everyone should go to the Riviera, but in the off-season. The summer months are insane.”) When Lizzy arrived home, her answering machine played back two messages from NetEffects.
On March 31 she joined the NetEffects family as sales support analyst, a job for a master multi-tasker, which Lizzy is, in spades! “It’s like a different job every day,” she said, trying to summarize her main duties. She’s the assistant for the sales team and the recruiters — and backs up team members who are out of the office.
