Meet our energetic, energized new staff

Meet Justine Dugan

One of two new business development staffer, scuba diver Justine Dugan has enough energy for six people. And with all that she has going on, she needs it.

“Like it or not, I’m so Type A,” she says of herself.  She comes to NetEffects with 14 years’ experience, most recently with the nation’s largest exclusive buyer’s real estate company specializing in corporate relocations. Prior to that, she was in IT management consulting with a leading firm in IT research and data where she became fascinated with solving IT business problems.

Always fascinated with IT, Justine says she got hooked early in her career as an IT recruiter dedicated to finding the “right talent at the right time.”

As a testimony to her skills, Justine received St. Louis Magazine’s 5 Star Customer Service Award.

“I am excited to bring my spirit and energy to this already phenomenal company,” she said enthusiastically.

A self-described extroverted social creature, she revels in spending time with friends and family and “anything outside.” 09192008
Her number one way to spend spare time is with her husband Tom and their extended family. “We don’t have children of our own yet, but we have fun with 11 nieces and nephews under the age of 14, eight of them in St. Louis.” And that’s one reason why she needs every ounce of energy she has!

But she and Tom (photo on the right) have other interests as well: off-trail mountain biking, hiking, and international travel and cruising. The Dugans’ next goal: tropical travel to Puerto Rico, Chile and/or Costa Rica in 2009.

While living in Australia for a college work/study program, Justine suited up to learn scuba diving and (in typical Type A fashion) went on to become a certified diver. Her first experience was off the great barrier reef of Australia, famous for its clear waters teeming with life. “Once you’ve been there, everything else is kind of disappointing,” she added.

Justine earned her MBA from Pepperdine University and has studied international business at Ecole Superieure De Commerce in Marseille, Provence and Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia.

“I look forward to developing meaningful relationships with clients, my team and the entire organization,” said Justine with excitement in her voice. And this Type A woman admits she would like meaningful relationships with everyone touching her life.

Including her newest friend: Marley, the Dugans’ new puggle dog (a pug and beagle mix).

Meet Debra Wannstedt

Debra is the manager of our New Business Development team at NetEffects.   She has a Masters Degree in Marketing and Media Communications from Webster University and a Bachelors Degree in MIS from Maryville University.

“At NetEffects, I am most excited about leading and growing teams,” she said eagerly. “Salespeople are generally self motivated and self-managed however, I hope to add value through leadership that will contribute to their continued success.”

Debra’s 29 years of experience includes branch management, sales, recruitment and team-building for a worldwide leader of marketing and creative staffing. Under her leadership at a prior IT staffing company, her team of 11 people built the branch from $10 to $14 million in annual revenue.

She has won numerous awards from previous employers for achieving and exceeding sales goals and was named the "Top Sales Producer" nationwide. Her extensive dealings with clients, problem solving, recruitment skills, managing expectations and developing new business opportunities makes Debra a perfect match for NetEffects growing, talented staff.

And with it all, Debra found time to raise three children. Her blended family includes six children and six grandchildren. Grandma just learned to ride her Harley Davidson motorcycle. She and her husband Bill, treasure getting outdoors to go skiing, boating and of course, taking out the Harleys.

On top of the new job and blended family, she has just moved from Millstadt, Ill. to Chesterfield, Mo.

But this is not the most difficult personal challenge Debra has faced. “When my husband and I married 11 years ago, we had four teenagers at home,” she said. “If we can survive that, we can overcome anything!”
