We were able to incorporate a little philanthropic activity during the NetEffects company picnic.
The St. Louis Area Foodbank was kind enough to bring a donation barrel to Castlewood state park to collect all the canned goods and monetary donations that picnic goers were generous enough to bring!
Overall we were able to collect enough food and donations for 144 meals!
The St. Louis Area Foodbank is currently the Bi-State region’s largest non-profit 501 (c) 3 food distribution center.
Recently, a study conducted by St. Louis Area Foodbank and Feeding America found that over 261,000 people in the metro area, including 101,790 children, are provided food each year by the St. Louis Area Foodbank.
We are still accepting canned goods at the NetEffects office and monetary donations as well. Please contact Michelle Zipfel mz@neteffects.com or Lizzy Donahower lizzy@neteffects.com for more information.
