NetEffects Annual Company Picnic
Great turnout, despite Mother Nature!

Castlewood State Park was home to NetEffects' Annual Company Picnic again this year. We had the perfect spot under a big shelter (good for avoiding the rain and heat) and nestled alongside a creek that runs throughout Castlewood.
Babaloo and Auntie M were a hit with kids of all ages! The fun for the kids did not stop there; we also had a craft station, piñatas, and games. Every child received a gift bag filled with toys and of course, candy.
The picnic is always a great time for the kids, but it is also wonderful for the adults as it is a good time to catch up with other NetEffects employees outside of the workplace and meet new faces. As we all know, it is always fun to share a few cold beverages and good food with friends.
The food was delicious! Samosas, mutter paneer and butter chicken are just a sampling of the Indian fare that was served for lunch. Traditional picnic style foods like coleslaw, hamburgers, and hotdogs were also yummy.
For dessert, all attendees got a special treat. We celebrated Blanche Bader's (President Jack Bader's Mother) 90th birthday during the picnic and all got a piece of delicious birthday cake! There were also brownies, lemon cake and kheer if the cake wasn’t enough.
Thanks to all that came out this year despite the weather forecast. If you were unable to attend you missed a great time, hopefully you can make it next year. We always enjoy hosting the picnic and getting to see everyone.
