Detailed description of the Direct Placement Process

Initial Consultation — It is our goal to conduct a thorough meeting with the hiring management to determine the overall requirements for the selected position. We look at factors like company culture, competitors and most importantly why a candidate would see value in coming to work for our client. This type of detail ensures that a candidate is a fit both technically as well as culturally.

Research — With the requisition now clearly defined and understood, we compile a list of target companies, potential candidates and various recruiting resources that will be utilized during our direct search. Other resources can include internal and external candidate databases, company directories and qualified associations.

Recruiting and Qualifying — When qualified candidates are identified during the recruiting process, we meet with them for a formal face-to-face interview.  We then dissect and assess each individual’s qualifications, communication skills and personal characteristics.  When a personal meeting is not possible, for example non-local candidates, a webcam interview is conducted. Not only do we assess their skills and experience we always keep in mind how each candidate will fit into our clients’ cultural.

Candidate Presentation — While we continue to recruit, qualify and interview, each candidate that meets and exceeds our client’s expectations is then recommended for a client interview.

Interview/Evaluation — It is our responsibility to coordinate and arrange for the client and select candidates to meet. All too often, these initial meetings require third party coordination to ensure success. At the client’s request, we may also step in and assist in the candidate evaluation process.

References — Reference checks are conducted to validate the candidate’s work history, abilities, and overall character.

Offer/Compensation & Negotiation — As needed, we welcome the opportunity to counsel our client regarding the candidate’s compensation requirements.  We often assist the negotiation on behalf of both our client as well as the selected candidate.

After the Placement — Lastly, we stay in touch with the successfully placed candidate to ensure that the best match has been made and assist when needed.
