Computerworld ranks 2 St. Louis-headquartered companies as the best places to work in IT

Earlier this week, Computerworld released their annual Best Places to Work in IT list for 2015 and named 2 St. Louis companies as the best in the large employer category. Both companies have their headquarters here, and have a lot to be proud of; as making the cut for this list is no small feat. Scoring was based on actual employee responses and the other determined by factors such as benefits, career development, training, and retention.Congratulations are in order for: Monsanto (ranking #24) and Edward Jones (ranking #51.) It is also worth noting that although their headquarters is in Dallas, TX, large IT employer AT&T who has a prominent footprint here in St. Louis as well, also made the list, coming in at #40.St. Louis offers plenty for talent considering potential opportunities with either large employer. We enjoy numerous low-cost to free cultural attractions and events throughout the year, a public parks system that is top-notch, access to mass transit commuting (and low-cost to free commuter parking throughout the city), excellent public and private schools (including colleges and universities), affordable housing options, and so much more. Not that we’re biased, but if you’re considering a career change, St. Louis might be the perfect place to make that happen…
