Picnic attendees[/caption]Great fun, great food, great entertainment. If you missed the annual companysummer picnic, you missed a grand time at Elk ParkNot only did we have a great variety of foods, including Indianspecialties, old fashioned bar-b-que and of course, fried chicken, we hadthe incredible Magic Story Teller, a special treat for the children andadults alike and lots of games. Everyone loved the piñatas and all the prizes – and especially the abundance of candy — for the kids.[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="316"]

Twins at the picnic[/caption]A fantastic arts-and-crafts area for the children turned out to be a major hit, especially with the moms, and a few dads, who were caught having as much fun there as their offspring. The kids started with a scavenger hunt. When they completed that, they could choose prizes. We had all kinds of foamys to decorate… the cozie cups, frames for the pictures we took. The kids could decorate with abc’s, flowers, dinosaurs, tropical stickers. We had beads they could use to make necklaces. We had beach balls they could play with, and the big blue expanding ball circle toy. Coco also gave out helium balloons which were a big hit with the little kids. The adults were especially appreciative of the fact that we had a fantastic beer selection this year! With more than 150 turning out on an incredible great sunny day (in the midst of a rainy weekend – thanks to the planning committee for the special weather arrangements!).We missed those who couldn't be with us. Hope you can get it on yourcalendar for next year, we'd love to have you and your family there!
