Neteffects' Company Picnic '15

Anyone who says being in IT is no picnic hasn’t met the neteffects crew! While techies boast an unfair reputation for lacking people skills, our team proved that theory wrong (again) at our annual company picnic at Castlewood State Park!

Not even 90° temps could break these hard core picnickers! The three-legged race stops for no one! 200 of our favorite people showed up, families in tow, for the festivities. From the water balloon toss, the egg & spoon race (okay, so technically, it was a ball and spoon race) to horseshoes and piñatas, the fun was undeniable!

And the food! The food was amazing! Fried chicken and pulled pork from Kenrick’s and Indian cuisine from Mayuri. What a treat! Oh, and speaking of treats - let’s not forgot the Frosty Treat Truck full of ice cream! (Pretty sure that was the highlight for a lot of us “big kids.”) We all sat back and enjoyed a full belly while being wowed by Brent Loewenstein’s magic!

At the end of the day, the kids left with painted faces and balloon animals in hand. Thanks to Whimsical Creations Face & Body Painting and Way Cool Balloons for sending everyone off with a smile!

Already looking forward to next year’s shindig!
